The Data Management and Analysis with Excel 2002 WBT is the second course in the Office XP: Excel 2002 curriculum. This course teaches the user how to effectively manage data in Excel and analyse data based on certain functions. The functions dealt with in this course include mathematical, logical, date and time, text, lookup and reference, financial, and statistical functions. Additionally, the course teaches the usage of the Analysis ToolPak Data Analysis tools to perform various calculations in a single step. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
Insert formulas in an Excel worksheet
Define and manage cell and range names
Use array formulas and array constants
Audit formulas
Identify and troubleshoot formula errors
Use selected mathematical functions
Use date and time functions, and specialized date functions
Use logical, lookup, and reference functions
Use basic text functions in Excel, and manipulate strings and substrings
Use basic financial functions
Use functions for calculating depreciation and analyzing securities
Use basic functions for statistical analysis
Calculate linear and exponential regression
Use the Analysis Toolpak Data Analysis tools
Generate random numbers using the Analysis ToolPak
