Overview:
Whether you are a small manufacturer struggling with

probably come to realize that effective Supply Chain Management
(SCM) has become essential to successfully compete in today’s
global marketplace.
This is a hands-on workshop that is
designed to review supply chain practices and manufacturing
planning and control systems principles (master scheduling,
sales/operation planning, material requirements planning,
capacity requirements planning, inventory management), including
best practices, and to align your supply chain management
strategies with your corporate business strategies . The
ultimate goal of this workshop is to drive a positive impact on
lead times, inventory, productivity and bottom-line
profitability throughout your supply chain.
Workshop Process Steps:

Team formed consisting of functional
managers and/or subject-matter-experts from Sales,
Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Materials Management,
Distribution, Warehousing, Finance and Engineering.

Schedule established to meet once a
week for 2-hours for a total of six weeks
-
Team meeting guidelines established by
team setting in place the process for group consensus
decision-making and for the encouragement of
challenging-of-the-status-quo.

Elements of supply chain and
manufacturing control system principles, including best
practices, reviewed by team and compared to current company
policies and procedures.

Assignments completed by team members
weekly between meeting dates.

Consensus achieved as to whether
changes to company policies and procedures to take place.

Project Plan established using
Microsoft Project 2003.

Implementation Plan to introduce
changes within company established.

Follow-up session conducted 6-weeks
after workshop completion to discuss roadblocks and share
lessons learned.
Note: If dynamic nature of workshop necessitates
additional session to complete
team objectives it will be
conducted at no-charge to client.
Logistics
Items
Team Website (optional)
A no-charge Microsoft team-sharing website
will be provided for use of team members during length of
workshop. Team members can collaborate by posting articles to
library, making changes to existing documents, adding to list of
links or calendar of events etc. Changes are immediate because
site is "live" and resides on our website with
password-protection provided.
Web
Conferencing (optional)
A web-conference capability can be utilized
to link remote locations into workshop. This service is at
no-charge for up to three (3) remote participants with service
for additional participants provided at our cost.
Pricing
Workshop pricing based on very competitive negotiated
hourly instructor charge for twelve (12) hours of workshop.
No charges for time spent
customizing/researching workshop material
including
time spent interviewing client subject-matter-experts or
preparing agenda for upcoming sessions.
Travel, if required, will be billed at cost
for airlines, hotel and meals.
