- M asked: more information what is the cost?
- R asked: Please send info on your CPE course
- V asked: Is there a course taught in Northern Colorado about target reading? I prefer a classroom setting. Thanks.
This is not a gimmick course. Many "speed reading" programs will show you how to read 5000 words per minute or faster, which is useful for researching or reviewing material. In fact, there is a component in our seminar that will show you a similar reading technique. But, as you know, simply having a general understanding of the reading material is not always sufficient. Technical materials, for example, require a slower, more comprehensive reading approach during certain sections. Our reading methods actually work like a car accelerator pedal - you will learn how to adjust your reading speed to match the material.
Equally important, continued application of these techniques will help you significantly build on your early success. Now keep in mind, we are not teaching miracle techniques. These reading methods have been in use for more than 40 years. We will simply show you how to recognize words and phrases in a way that is common for fast readers.
The other significant difference between "speed reading" programs and our reading seminars is that we can show you how to apply our techniques using your own preferred learning style. We have found this approach is so effective many of our students, by the end of the seminar, didn't feel they were applying a particular "technique" - it simply felt natural and comfortable to read faster with better comprehension.
