Purpose & Description
In canvassing fundamental matters you need to know to establish your own small business the Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management), provides you with the competencies to develop a solid framework and direction for your business idea.

The course focuses on nurturing key small business management skills. It begins by identifying and researching business opportunities and then leads into a number of skill sets including managing finance, establishing legal requirements, marketing and bookkeeping.

The Certificate consists of ten units of competency, which must be demonstrated before the qualification can be issued.

Suitability
If you are serious about turning a business idea into reality, or updating and refreshing your current business skills the course would suit those;

Pre-requisites
There are no prerequisites for the Certificate IV in

Business (Small Business Management) BSB40401.

Certification
Assessment will be competency based and involve direct, indirect and supplementary forms of evidence. Evidence of competency will be provided through the:

demonstration of competence on the job and/or in a simulated environment

active participation in structured group activities

completion of individual written assessment tasks

production of a comprehensive written Business Plan

Participants who successfully demonstrate competency and complete the course will be awarded the nationally recognised Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management) BSB40401.

$1500.00 ( Full Course)

Fees for individual or groups of Units of Competency are available upon request.

Delivery
Classroom: The course is delivered in 4-6 months, either one or two days a week depending on the location.

Self-Paced: As the course is self-paced it does not require class attendance. You learn and study in your own time, own place and at your own pace, provided you complete the course within 12 months from your enrolment date.
