5 DAY COURSE CONTENT.
MONDAY MORNING: Cutting and fixing plasterboard to your bay ceiling and walls.
MONDAY AFTERNOON: You will scratch coat your blockwork wall and piers using a sand & cement backing plaster. Time permitting you will cut plasterboard angle beads and fix around your window opening.
TUESDAY MORNING: You will cut and stick angle beads onto the your piers. You will then float your over your scratch coat on the main wall.
TUESDAY AFTERNOON: You will float your piers upto the angle beads.
WEDNESDAY MORNING: You will use a multi-finish plaster and set over the floating coat on the main wall and the front of your piers to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON: You will tape up your main plasterboard wall and then set using a multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
THURSDAY MORNING: You will tape up your plasterboard window wall and then set using a multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
THURSDAY AFTERNOON: You will tape up your ceiling and then set using a multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
FRIDAY MORNING: You will set the inside of your piers and around your window opening using a multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON: You will uni-bond a wall and then set over the existing plaster using a multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
On all of our plastering courses you will get the full amount of days training specified, and we will not get you to take your work down at the end of your course.
