Conflict Management Trainer qualification. One of only 2 nationally recognised trainer qualifications for Conflict Management Trainers.
Successful delegates on this course will be awarded the BTEC Award in Conflict Management Training, one of the SIA approved qualifications. This course is also ideal for anyone who wishes to gain a formal qualification in Conflict Management Training.
The course has 2 Units. The first requires private study to complete a work book and a mini-project. Unit 2 must be completed in the classroom where candidates will develop and practice scenario based training sessions.
Following the course candidates will be able to: Understand aggression; Know how to deal with aggression in themselves and others; Know how to conduct potential conflict risk assessments; Improve personal skills; Know how to effectively respond to conflict situations; Be able to develop and deliver scenario based training.

Training the Conflict Management Trainer
The Delivery of Conflict Management Training Trainer course provides candidates with the knowledge and skills required to deliver scenario based conflict management training. This course is one of those required by trainers delivering Unit 2 training for SIA approved courses with effect from 1 January 2006.
Successful candidates will be awarded the BTEC Level 3 Award in delivery of Conflict Management Training. This is the same qualification as the City and Guilds 1886.
The course is project and classroom based. A project must be completed before Unit 2 classroom based training can be undertaken. Project work should take 2 weeks in the workplace and Unit 2 is 3 days in the classroom.
