What you will learn
At the conclusion of the lean manufacturing course each delegate will be able to:-
Implement and maintain a company wide 5S programme
Recognise waste and other non-value added activities throughout their business
Introduce a basic pull scheduling system e.g. Kanban
Set up a lean manufacturing cell
Identify the various types of mistake proofing techniques
Follow a standard process to significantly reduce machine change-over times
Identify a programme to maintain production equipment
Generate value stream maps of their own manufacturing processes

Elements of the course content are trained using innovative role play where the delegates are required to act out the assembly operations of a fictitious manufacturing company.
The introduction to lean manufacturing training course is limited to a maximum of twelve delegates. Course costs cover the two training sessions, a comprehensive set of course notes, lunch, refreshments and an attendance certificate.
