Are you mystified by scanning and resolution issues (ppi vs. dpi), color modes (RGB vs. CMYK) or color correction (Levels vs. Curves)? Designed for anyone with basic knowledge of Photoshop, this one-day course presents the tools and techniques you need to professionally prepare images for print. Learn how to set up Photoshop s workspace efficiently, how to streamline your workflow using actions, and how to use the file browser to organize and manage digital files. You ll gain hands-on experience with scanning, importing images from digital cameras, retouching and color correcting. Other topics include using filters (to correct images and to create special effects), optimizing images, working with different formats, and editing grayscale (b/w) images. Be sure to bring your digital camera.
