Moviolaa ™s four-day Advanced Effects course is designed for Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony or Avid Xpress Pro* editors already familiar with keyframing, layering and nesting, who are looking to take their effects to the next level by unleashing some of the powerful effects capabilities of their Avid editing system.*
At Moviola Digital, Avid class sizes are limited to eight to ten students, and each workstation is limited to just two students to ensure a positive learning experience.
Class time is divided between demonstrations followed by hands-on practice exercises.
Moviolaa ™s four-day 305 course focuses on designing multi-layered and multi-nested effects for maximum quality and optimal render time. The course culminates in creating a complex effect that utilizes many of the concepts presented.
The 305 course provides students with the following:
Effect shortcuts, tips and tricks.
Avida ™s a Big Effect Mode.a
Avida ™s Advanced Keyframe capabilities.
Advanced Nesting, including Auto-Nesting.
Creating Freeze Frame effects using Avida ™s Timewarp tool.
Mixing HD and SD in the same timeline.
Chroma Keying, Luma Keying and using Avida ™s high quality SpectraMatte keyer.
Matte Keys, both from tape sources as well as imported graphics.
Square versus Non-square pixels.
Alpha Channels: Straight Alpha Channels versus Premultiplied Alpha Channels.
Avida ™s Intraframe Effects: a AniMatte,a Avida ™s animatable matte tool and Avida ™s a Paint Effects,a as well as Scratch Removal, Blur and Mosaic effects.
Using the Pan and Scan effect.
How to analyze effects whether theya ™re simple or complex.
