Avid ACSR - Macintosh and Windows System Support Certification

This five-day course focuses on the integration and support of Avid editing systems, including Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony, Avid Xpress Pro with Mojo, and Avid Media Composer Adrenaline.
Avid hardware components and configurations are presented and explained. Areas covered include the relationship between the Windows/ Macintosh OS and Avid software, troubleshooting concepts, models and tools.
Lab work and exercises provide the necessary practical experience in integrating systems and applying troubleshooting techniques.
Topics include:
Identifying, understanding, and working with PC/ Mac and Avid hardware and software
Installation and configuration of Avid systems
Troubleshooting and resolving problems on Avid systems
On the final day of the course an exam is given and, if passed, the student becomes an Avid Certified Support Representative. Certification is valid for one year.
