Typography in Design - Level I
Video and Graphics
Training
Provided by Moviola Digital Education Center
Without type, there is no design. That is as true of post-production work, motion graphics, and animation as it is of graphic design in general. All forms of visual communication require that typography be successfully integrated into a coherent and expressive overall design. In this two-day course, you'll explore the anatomy of the letterform. Through interactive lectures and hands-on exercises, you'll learn to recognize font classifications, identify the parts of a letterform, and understand the role of type in graphic design. As a final project, you ll design your own font with consideration for effective visual design.
