ANGER MANAGEMENT TRAINER-PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE COURSE:
for counselors, professionals, educators, leaders, pastors, law enforcement or probation officers and others who desire to teach and coach individuals and groups in anger management.
The Trainer's anger management courses are based on our new second edition of What's Good About Anger, Dr. Gary Gintner's BARK manual and Dr. Ron Potter-Efron's Handbook for Anger Management. These course are self-paced. Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the exam, some assignments and agreement with the Trainer's contract.
The Anger Management Institute offers training and certification for counselors, pastors, leaders in anger management. Courts, employers, schools and correctional facilities have been accepting and recognizing the Institute certificate courses and trainers classes throughout the USA since 2002. The National Anger Management Association now endorses and approves the Anger Management Institute home-study and live programs for trainers. Once trainers are certified through our programs they meet the NAMA requirements for designation as: Anger Management Specialist-1.
These new training manuals include adult and adolescent 12-week trainers guides with expanded teaching tools and points, assessments, inventories and curriculum for anger and stress management, assertiveness, conflict management, emotional intelligence, empathy skills, cognitive restructuring and other helpful interventions. Certified Trainers will then qualify to become Affiliates with the What s Good About Anger Institute and purchase quantities of resources at greater discounts.
