This course concentrates on the aspects of the Adobe Photoshop computer program which particularly relate to those with an interest in digital photography. It is designed to demonstrate the potential for creating professional quality prints and publishing material from original photographs.

Training Program Details

Participants will learn how to .

1) use the programme s work area, tools, and main features
2) organize, manage and record data for working files
3) use automated features for output
4) perform basic photo corrections to optimize the appearance of the final print result
5) create composite pictures from several different photos or picture elements
6) retouch and repair old or damaged pictures
7) prepare pictures for commercial printing
8) reproduce colour accurately on screen and in print.

Up-to the-minute, high powered, I.T. equipment and qualified tuition is provided.
Participants will be assessed to identify their future training needs in order to develop their skills to industry standard, if required.
Further training can be provided leading to industry-recognized certification for successful examination candidates.
