Dubai Team Building: Beauty Oil Project Management Simulation for Executive Retreats

Due to the need for increased industrial production, your company's executive team has decided to cope with the demand by transferring their conveyor systems to to Dubai. A schedule for drilling has been planned and a new oil rig at the Beauty Oil oilfield must be fully operatonal by sunset.

The dedicated labor force at your desert camp has already finished the platform. Due to severe desert storms, they have fallen behind schedule in building the rig. As members of the executive teamm you decide to assist the workers with the set up of the oil rig. Your challenge is to:

- set up the rig by sunset
- start conveying the oil
- light the oil tower s fire as a symbol of success

There is one major obstacle. The hatch of one your company s airplanes flew open due to severe turbulence in the middle of a recent desert storm. Your tools and supplies have been scattered throughout the desert. Using metal detectors or GPS systems and with the support of the laborers all parts and tools have to be collected. The oil rig can only function properly if all those items are completely assembled.
