Course Description

What's in Flash MX: Basic + CBT:

This ILT series course teaches students the fundamentals of using Flash MX to design animations for the Web. This course introduces students to creating and editing shapes, applying colors and line styles, combining shapes, importing bitmaps, and converting bitmaps to vector shapes. Course activities also cover adding and formatting text, using layers to arrange shapes, and modifying the layers. Finally, students use Onion Skin to create a frame-by-frame animation, play the animation, and work with templates. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success. This product includes interactive CBT.

What's in Flash MX: Advanced + CBT:


This course builds on the fundamentals taught in Flash MX: Basic. In this advanced course, students learn how to work with symbols, shapes, and instances to create more complex animations. Students add interactivity to movies by using the ActionScript and the Actions panel, and store and perform calculations by creating fields. Course activities also cover adding sound to layers and buttons, editing sound objects, and importing and managing video. Finally, students test the download performance of a movie, create a pre loader, and publish a movie on the Web. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success. Comes with a companion CBT program.
