Multivariate Data Analysis with Chemometrics & Spectroscopic Applications Level 1

Introduction

CAMO has more than 20 years experience in providing multivariate data analysis software, products and solutions. A recognized name in the chemometrics software domain, CAMO software solutions help clients understand the knowledge hidden inside data. CAMO provides professional training and applications development in multivariate statistical analysis, spectroscopy, experimental design, optimization and formulations, sensory analysis and PAT, worldwide. Training options include public courses, in-house and online workshops, to bring you the practical knowledge necessary to conduct research and interpret analyses on a daily basis, to best suit your requirements.

Why CAMO Chemometrics & Multivariate Analysis training?

Why CAMO Chemometrics & Multivariate Analysis training? Modern data sets contain many variables where the most interesting trends are hidden in a combination of the variables. Course participants will learn how to interpret complex data quickly and confidently using most modern multivariate techniques. The courses are composed of lectures, demonstrations and computer exercises on datasets using The Unscrambler ® , to illustrate and learn Multivariate Data Analysis. The courses are inspired from the industrial opportunities offered by chemometrics methods. With a non-mathematical approach, our participants can quickly and safely start using the methods in their own work to optimize, classify or predict products and processes.

Who should participate in this program?

Who should participate in this program? The courses have been designed for individuals: - Involved in consumer insights, R&D, product development, process optimization, quality control & monitoring. - Working or likely to work with spectroscopic instruments (NIR, FTIR, UV, UV/VIS, NMR, DAS, Raman, Mass Spectroscopy), chromatography instruments (LC, CE, GC, HPLC), and other sources of multivariate data as part of laboratory, R&D, quality control or production processes. - Pharmaceutical Analytical R&D, Drug discovery, PAT No prior knowledge of Statistics or Unscrambler is required to attend our courses.

Course Overview

Course Overview The Multivariate Data Analysis-1 course has been designed to give participants a strong foundation in the basics and fundamentals of Multivariate Data Analysis. The course combines theoretical studies and practical workshops, ensuring that each participant gets individual focus, and understands the practical uses of MVDA applications in R&D, Process Analysis, Laboratory, Quality Control & Assurance and Consumer Insights.Numerous real world data sets will be analyzed during the course.

The Instructors

About the Instructor Ms.Carolina Hache Born in the Dominican Republic , she obtained her bachelor degree in Agriculture in 1996, working then for 1 year for a United Nations project for environmental conservation and for 3 years in the agricultural sector. Next she decided to move to Japan to pursue Master and Ph. D., obtaining both degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. During that period she used Chemometrics and The Unscrambler to analyze airborne multi-spectral and hyper-spectral data as well as VIS and NIR soil spectra collected on-field. She is fluent in Spanish, English and is still improving her Japanese skills.
