The Multimedia program focuses on providing the conceptual, technical, and visual design skills required to create multimedia applications and environments. Students wanting to become a multimedia designer will build a strong foundation for a multimedia design career by learning design principles, digital imaging, Flash, basic ActionScripting, video and sound editing, animation, and interaction design, through case studies and hands-on exercises.
Students learn professional applications for Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, and digital video editing. Course projects include critique, storyboarding, retouching, compositing, Flash animation and site design, basic Action Scripting, video and sound editing, motion graphics production, multimedia development and interface design.
