This workshop provides a fast-track understanding of collective investment schemes in the UK and Europe. It explains the principles behind open-ended funds, regulations governing their marketing, investment powers, documentation, pricing, buying and selling and shareholder rights. The workshop will especially focus on the UCITS II (Management Company Directive) and UCITS III (Product Directive), looking at the changes they will introduce and the challenges faced by firms who will need to convert their product range ahead of the regulatory deadline.
