Macromedia Flash 8 is now a web standard and the only widely distributed technology for integrating vector graphics and animation into web sites. This combination of design and animation tools is complimented by a strong development environment that allows programmers to create highly interactive database driven technologies. Flash 8 sees the arrival of a host of exciting new features, including an improved script editor (with a visual interface); a revamped library interface; a new Undo feature; powerful run-time effects; and breakthrough motion-graphics capabilities to name but a few.
In this two day beginners course, we focus on using Flash 8 for the creation of visually attractive vector and animation-based page elements and websites. We will create artwork in Flash 8 as well as importing artwork and images into Flash files. We also work with text, creating navigation systems, and creating interactive elements that contain sound and video. An overview of many of the new features in Flash 8 will also be given.
By the end of this two-day course you will have a good understanding of the core features of Flash 8 and how to use them to create visually attractive, interactive web elements. You will also be able to build and implement a full Flash project from start to finish.
