Seichim (pronounced SAYK HEEM) Reiki (also known as Sekhem) or SKHM as it is now known, per the founder/re-discover Patrick Zeigler, is one of the aspects of healing spiritual energy that was used by and taught in the temples and mystery schools of Ancient Egypt. Patrick re-discovered this incredibly high level Reiki energy in Egypt while surreptitiously spending the night in one of the pyramids.
SKHM is channeled Living Light Energy from Source and as does USUI Reiki, SKHM connects with Source to establish healing in physical, mental, emotional and Spiritual body levels as well as stimulating personal development to reach ones true purpose. Present within the energy is a very strong aspect of unconditional love which surpasses most other modalities.

Seichim Reiki Home Study
One of the aspects of SKHM is that it supports self-development in a way that allows new insights and use of the energy. SEICHIM was the original name given to the system which has developed even more since the rediscovery of the energy by Patrick in 1980. Patrick encouraged those exposed to his system to grow, expand and let the energy
evolve.
One of the reasons that Patrick now calls the system SKHM is to end the confusion of the different spellings/names by which the system is/has been called. The attunement/initiation process allows and guides the energy which is used by ones internal process rather than an altering of the energy field which may result in premature initiation.
Even though SHKM does encompass Ancient Egyptian heritage Patrick prefers that
it not be defined as such because that begins to define what the energy is instead of allowing the energy to present itself as it is to be used by individuals receiving the initiation.
