Course Overview
This course is the third in a three-part series on Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). The Internet, Internet Mail Protocols, how TCP/IP works with LAN and WAN protocols, the Domain Name Service (DNS), Network File System (NFS), Network Information System (NIS), and managing TCP/IP are subjects that will be covered in this course.

Unit 1: Internet

- Sequence the command and responses between the sender and the receiver in Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).

- Identify the benefits provided by Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).
- Identify the services provided by Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP).

Unit 2: TCP/IP and Networks

- Identify the layers of the Windows 95 architecture that enables it to work with TCP/IP.

Unit 3: Domain Name Service
