Course Overview
This is the first course in a five part series that will provide students with the knowledge to write a Microsoft Visual Basic-based application that accesses data from a database. In this course, students will be introduced to the Visual Basic environment and its main options and characteristics. Students will also learn the strategy for Universal Data Access and the visual data access tools that make it easy for Visual Basic programmers to create data access applications.

- Create data-bound controls on a form.
- Add navigation controls to a form to allow navigation through a recordset.
