Course Overview
This is the first course in a two-part series on Novell NDS Design and Implementation. This series will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to create a Novell Directory Services (NDS) design and implementation strategy. This course will cover NDS design theory, designing an NDS tree, the skills needed to determine an NDS partition and replication strategy, and the skills necessary to create a time synchronization strategy.
Learn To:
- Identify Novell Directory Service (NDS) design theories.
- Identify the concepts associated with implementing the design of an NDS tree.
- Determine an NDS partition and replication strategy.
- Create a time synchronization strategy.
- Synchronize time for a network.
Content Emphasis
Skills-Based
Audience
Network administrators and network designers or consultants. Participants should have taken the Novell NetWare 5 Administration series (courses 82301-05) and Novell NetWare 5 Advanced Administration series (courses 82311-15) prior to taking this course. This is an approved study guide that will help you prepare for certification exam 50-634 and is equivalent to Novell class 575.
