This is the final course in a five part series that teaches how to manage SQL Server 2000 transactions and locks. This course will cover how to import and export data, and how to transform data with DTS. Additionally, users will learn how to manage distributed queries and linked servers, create transactions, manage locks, and how to troubleshoot transactions and locking.

Candidates for Exam 70-229 operate in medium to large computing environments that use SQL Server 2000, Windows 2000 Active Directory, and Internet Information Server (IIS). Learners are expected to have experience with using the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system. Learners are also expected to have an understanding of basic relational database concepts and have knowledge of basic Transact-SQL syntax.
