Course Overview
This is the second course in a two part series that presents the learner with the second of two sets of new features available in the Microsoft Office XP software. The course emphasis is on database, e-mail, and Internet software.
Learn To
Identify the undo and redo capabilities of Access 2002. Learn To: Identify the features of error logging in database conversions. Learn To: Convert a database from a previous version to Access 2002 format. Learn To: Identify the enhancements to the message header area in Outlook 2002. Learn To: Identify the capabilities of account selection in Outlook 2002. Learn To: Enable Outlook 2002 to use a Hotmail account to send and receive messages. Learn To: Identify the main functions of the clipboard in FrontPage 2002. Learn To: Identify the new features of page tabs in FrontPage 2002. Learn To: Identify the new commands available on the Table menu.
Audience
The audience for this course would include learners who work in an office environment producing and working with databases, e-mail, or Internet software. A high level of computer skill is not required for New Features Part 1 but learners will have had some prior experience with Microsoft Office software. However, New Features Part 2 requires a higher level of skill as its emphasis lies in databases and networking software. Learners will need a basic knowledge of either Microsoft Office 97 or 2000 applications. This course will focus on new features within Office XP from the perspective of a user familiar with Office 97 or Office 2000.
