This course covers the more complex aspects of working with data using Access 2002. Assuming the learner is already proficient in Access, the course covers advanced features of database queries, and enhancing forms and reports.
Learn To Create an update query.
Create a delete query.
Create an append query.
Create a form in Design view.
Modify section properties in a form.
Create a subform with the Form Wizard.
Create a report in Design view.
Modify section properties of a report.
Add a chart to a report.
Modify a database by using the Compact and Repair tool.
Convert a database from a previous version to Access 2002 format.
Distribute a database as an MDE file.
The intended audience for this course would include Project or Office Managers, Secretarial, Web Designer-Developers, System Administrators, and Database Administrators. Typically learners will work in an office environment (possibly networked) producing documents/spreadsheets and/or databases/Web pages. Learners will need a basic knowledge of either Microsoft Office 97 or 2000 programs and be familiar with Windows 9X or later operating system(s).
