Course Overview
This is the second course in a three part series that teaches the purpose, features, and benefits of eDirectory. It covers how to install and configure eDirectory. It also covers common eDirectory management and troubleshooting tasks. It also discusses the relationship between NDS eDirectory and the Full Service Directory model.

• Understand the concept of NDS eDirectory 8.5.
• Understand how to install NDS eDirectory 8.5 on NetWare 5.0, Windows 2000, and Linux operating systems.
• Identify the tasks involved in configuring and managing NDS eDirectory 8.5.
• Identify the ways to troubleshoot NDS eDirectory and the way in which eDirectory supports the features of the FSD model.

The intended audience for this course includes Technical Managers, System Administrators, Software Engineers, and Network Administrators. They should be experienced IT professionals who are experts with Novell NetWare 4 or NetWare 5 and have prior knowledge of Novell Directory Services (NDS).
