The course also focuses on catalogs in a Commerce Server Web site, the tools used to create one, and the skills required to build Web pages to browse and search catalogs.

o Identify features of Commerce Server 2000 dictionaries.

Audience

The intended audience for this course includes Professional Web Developers. These developers will have experience creating Web sites by using Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Basic Scripting Edition or JavaScript, data connectivity, client-server concepts and technologies (Internet Information services (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server (tm)) and COM+. Suggest knowledge of Web development, databases, datawarehousing, VB, COM and e-commerce concepts. This course prepares learners for exam 70-234. In addition, learners should have taken the first part of this series 74116.

Unit 1: Identifying and Authenticating Users 3 - 4 hours
o Identify benefits of user identification, authentication, and profiling in Commerce Server 2000.
o Identify features of authentication systems in Commerce Server 2000.
o Identify properties and default profiles for user authentication in the Commerce Server 2000 (CS) Authentication resource.
o Sequence the steps in the anonymous user authentication process.
o Identify features of AuthManager and AuthFilter.
o Set AuthFilter to Autocookie mode by using Commerce Server Manager.
o Sequence the steps to create an MSCSProfile cookie.
o Identify the syntax used to create a user profile with the CreateProfile method of the ProfileService object.
o Enable Internet Information Services (IIS) logging by using Internet Services Manager.
o Add a user profile by using the User module of Business Desk.
o Update an organization profile
