The course focuses on providing network security, including configuring firewalls and securing Commerce Server files and resources. Topics covering the administration of Commerce Server 2000, including performance monitoring, resource maintenance, and Data Warehousing are also covered.

o Add a server to a Web Farm to increase capacity.
o Match Commerce Server 2000 support servers with their descriptions.
o Configure SQL Server to use mixed mode for authentication.
o Create a new SQL Server login account.
o Create a new SQL Server data source to store user profile information.
o Identify guidelines for monitoring performance.
o Identify functions of SQL Profiler.
o Start the Predictor resource by using Commerce Server Manager.

Audience

The intended audience for this course includes Professional Web Developers. These developers will have experience creating Web sites by using Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Basic Scripting Edition or JavaScript, data connectivity, client-server concepts and technologies (Internet Information services (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server (tm)) and COM+. Suggest knowledge of Web development, databases, datawarehousing, VB, COM and e-commerce concepts. This course prepares learners for exam 70-234. In addition, learners should have taken the first four parts of this series 74116 thru 74119.
