This is the final course in a five part series that covers designing a network infrastructure to support Commerce Server 2000, describing the infrastructure components including Web Farms, staging servers and development servers, and covering network performance improvement by using switches to connect servers. The course focuses on providing network security, including configuring firewalls and securing Commerce Server files and resources. Topics covering the administration of Commerce Server 2000, including performance monitoring, resource maintenance, and Data Warehousing are also covered.

The intended audience for this course includes Professional Web Developers. These developers will have experience creating Web sites by using Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Basic Scripting Edition or JavaScript, data connectivity, client-server concepts and technologies (Internet Information services (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server (tm)) and COM+.
