This course provides the learner with an introduction to IE 6. It also covers Web page management and security, and features of the IE 6 suite including Newsgroups and NetMeeting.
Learn To: o Identify features of the Internet.
o Identify components of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 package.
o Identify New Connection Wizard options to connect to the Internet.
o Save a displayed Web page.
o Download a file from the Internet.
o Save an image by using the Image toolbar.
o Sequence the steps for setting up an e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook Express 6.
o Send an e-mail message.
o Reply to an e-mail message.
Audience The intended audience for this course does not require a high level of computer skill, but learners will probably have had some prior experience with Microsoft Office software and the Windows operating system. Learners will need a basic knowledge of either Microsoft Windows 98 or later operating system(s).
