Sexual Harassment: What Employees Should Know offers the student an overview of what sexual harassment is and how it affects organizations. The program details how to recognize harassing behaviors and what factors should be considered when determining whether behavior rises to the level of sexual harassment. In addition, the program teaches the learner actions to prevent or stop sexual harassment.

Unit 1: Understanding Sexual Harassment (0.5 - 1 hour)
Identify the law sexual harassment violates.
Given a behavior, identify which type of EEOC-recognized sexual harassment it describes.
Identify the characteristics of quid pro quo sexual harassment.
Identify the characteristics of hostile environment sexual harassment.
Identify situations that involve illegal firings.
Simulation Overview:
In this simulation, you will be meeting with Cynthia Scott, one of Icon's Human Resources Representatives, as part of your employee orientation process. She will discuss Icon's sexual harassment policy and ask you a series of questions designed to test your knowledge of what constitutes sexual harassment and how it affects both its victims and the organization.
Unit 2: Recognizing Harassing Behaviors (0.5 - 1 hour)
Identify the basis for a claim of quid pro quo sexual harassment.
Identify how sexual advances and propositions can result in sexual harassment.
Identify the factors that determine whether behavior constitutes sexual harassment.
Identify the factors that contribute to the determination of whether behavior is sexual harassment.
Identify how ''unreasonable'' behavior is determined.
Identify situations that are usually considered ''severe and pervasive.''
Identify when behaviors are considered ''unwelcome.''
