Simulation Overview:
In the simulation at the end of this unit, you are the Quality Assurance Director for Icon's Industrial Services and Manufacturing Division, assigned to address a slow decline in the quality of the I-Grill line of gas grills. Over the past several months, the number of complaints about the I-Grill line, made popular because of customizable paint and metal finish, has risen dramatically, and they've indicated a need to identify and address the problem before the situation gets any worse. Today, you are meeting with the plant's Production Manager, the plant's Quality Control Manager, and the Sales Manager for the I-Grill line. The four of you need to create an information collection plan and identify the root cause of the quality problem.
