  • In this simulation, you are a Manager in Icon's Computing Hardware and Software Division. You have recently hired as a consultant Bruce Madison, a Scientific Systems Analyst with an expertise in Numerical Analysis. Bruce has a history of pushing companies to the cutting edge of technology and integrating that technology with the Internet. Recently, Market Researchers have tracked an increase in popularity of Internet-accessible training software. The trend has some executives concerned, so they have ordered the migration of all Icon training software to the Internet. In the first part of the simulation, you will meet Bruce and follow the guidelines for treating Bruce with professionalism. Your meeting will be brief because you are leaving for a two-week vacation later that day. In the second part of this simulation, you will meet with Bruce again three months later. You have been receiving e-mails from Bruce's co-workers complaining of his prima donna attitude.
