- asked: It is a requirement of SNT-TC-A that visual inspectors receive a minimum of hours of training. I am specifically looking for CD or DVD prgrammed training in the visual examination of welds. The material should cover the basic welding processes, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW, etc., welding symbols and types of welding defects. Do you have this type of training program on CD or DVD?

Welding Inspection Seminar
A one-day eight hour course which provides an overview of the essential knowledge and skills for weld inspection. Participants will learn inspection criteria, techniques for visual and dimensional inspection and whether they are in need of further study to be adequately prepared for weld inspection responsibility or certification.
