To provide a competent level of knowledge and skills to public sector managers and others who have a responsiblility for investigating incidents, discipline and grievance cases and complaints and preparing for tribunal/ court hearings. Due to feedback from our clients, we will only offer this program as a class based program to Company groups. Individuals can, however, study this program through distance learning which will include various methods of delivery.

Investigation Skills for Managers
This course will be delivered in one of two ways. In-house groups may enrol on the course for delivery on their site or at a convenient location. The course will then be an intensive program combining theory, syndicate work, case studies and role play to enable delegates to learn and practice:
The factors which determine the purpose of an investigation
Managing investigations
Practice risk and impact anylysis
How to conduct interviews of witnesses and suspects
Record keeping during investigations
How to find, collect and preserve evidence
Recording evidence and report writing
Individuals wishing to study this course may do so by distance learning which will include: Written training material, DVD training material, on-line training material, e-book, email, video conferences and assessments.
