This 4-day Axis2 training course has been developed by Paul Fremantle, co-founder of WSO2, lead developer of Web Services Invocation Framework (WSIF) and co-lead of JSR 110: Java APIs for WSDL, which produced WSDL4J. Paul is also co-chair of the OASIS Web Services Reliable eXchange Technical Committee, which is charged with creating the industry standard for reliable message exchange over SOAP.

Apache Axis2 is an implementation of the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Recommendation from the W3C and is a foundational technology for next generation Web Services.

Axis2 has a modular and flexible message handling pipeline. It focuses on the details of message handling and provides clear hooks for implementations of associated Web Services standards and protocols.
