Our 2 day Advanced Microsoft Access training course is suitable for those with a sound working knowledge of Access who wish to progress to the most complicated functions and features.
The course will be primarily instructive with some time used as a tutorial; delegates will have the opportunity to work through an exercise provided by the tutor or work on their own database.
To illustrate possible development methods, a complex existing database will be presented at the outset this will make use of:
- macros
- interrogating data using custom dialogue boxes
- action queries
- use of Expression Builder
- a range of advanced functions
PREREQUISITES
A working knowledge of Access or our Introduction to MS Access course will allow sufficient knowledge to attend our Advanced MS Access course.
BENEFITS
At the end of this course you will have a complete understanding of the higher functions of Access.
You will:
- Learn to automate functions by creating simple and then very advanced macros.
- Advance your querying ability and then to use SQL statements in your queries.
- Discover how to work with objects, and the fundamentals of database management.

You will then be qualified to progress to our VBA Access course.
WORK ON YOUR OWN DATABASES
Delegates that have their on databases they want to work on are encouraged to bring then to the course to work on as part of the tutorial.
