The Communicable Disease Renewal Course refreshes knowledge of mechanisms for disease transmission, strategies to prevent the spread of communicable disease, proper diapering procedures, proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures, proper infant formula prep, signs of illness in children, care for ill children, administering medication in a day care center, and child care rules as they relate to health and communicable diseases.
This course is presented by a Registered Nurse (RN) and satisfies ODJFS requirements for Childcare Providers. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a 3 hour certification that is valid for three years.
