The goal of this course is to teach you how to use the basics of SolidWorks mechanical design automation software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies, and how to make drawings of those parts and assemblies.
Prerequisites
- Mechanical design experience
- Experience with the Windows operating system
- Read the Introducing SolidWorks manual. A hardcopy of this manual is included with your software, or you can access an online version of this manual by clicking Help | Introducing SolidWorks.
- Complete the online tutorials that are integrated in the SolidWorks software. You can access the online tutorials by clicking Help | Online Tutorial.
