By the end of this introduction to Computers you will be familiar with switching on and off, you will have mastered many of the special keys on the keyboard and you will know how to control the mouse and when to click the buttons. You will have covered the skills required to write, print and save a letter and to use tools such as spell check and basic formatting. We shall have a look at searching the Internet and send and receive a few e-mails. All of this could be combined with setting up your new computer, connecting to the Internet and setting up your e-mail accounts. The time required to complete this course of instruction will vary between individuals. Some may complete it in two lessons but the majority will take no more than four.
