This 3 yr course is accredited by the Open College Network at level 4+ and approved by the Society of Teachers of The Alexander Technique. It is for those wishing to become Alexander practitioners. In depth personal study including 80% practical 'hands-on' learning. Individual work, small group focus work, lectures, demonstrations and final year supervised practice.

3 year Alexander teacher training course
Three year programe includes study of Alexander Procedures and theoretical understanding.
Includes study of the Use of the Self, and understanding of Inhibition, direction, functioning, habit and end-gaining. Students study on a practical level, receiving hands-on work from qualified teachers to improve personal balance, co-ordination and breathing. A gradual programe of teaching the hands on skill is incorporated. Anatomy and study of relevant Alexander literature included.
Students may gain 225 credits at Levels 4 5 with the Open College network. Credits can be used as APEL for University courses.
