Adobe Premiere Pro
This course helps you understand Premiere's capabilities and how it is used to edit and assemble digital video. The class is structured around several projects and gives you the skills needed to create a digital video movie complete with sound and special effects. After completing this course you will be able to:
- Describe the concept of non-linear digital video editing
- Explain many of the key words and concepts used in digital video
- Find and state the purpose of each of Premiere's windows
- Import digital video, sound, graphics, and animation for use is a movie
- State the proper file formats for sound, graphics, and video
- Use Premiere's Project window to organize imported clips, artwork, and sound
- Use Premiere's Construction window to assemble a movie
- Use transitions between segments of your movie or to create special effects
- Import a clip, edit it to fit your requirements, and add it to a project
- Apply filters to clips to create special effects
- Use the motion command to animate both video clips and still art
- Create text titles using the Titling window
- Understand some of the hardware requirements for digitizing video
- Customize Premiere's preferences to fit your needs
- Create a finished movie that includes still graphics, video, sound, text and basic animation
