Liemur s OOAD is a five day course focusing on the object oriented software development process; specifically analysis and design techniques. The course uses the Unified Modelling Language (UML) as standard notation for the artefacts produced throughout the course.

Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
Using an iterative use case driven case study, the delegates will learn how to start project analysis from basic requirements sets, progressing through object oriented analysis and design activities.
The course follows a pragmatic object oriented software development process derived from Liemur s significant project management experience and the latest advancements in the field of software engineering. Delegates will create and use the most common set of artefacts and UML diagrams while always respecting the key object oriented concepts.

To build a set of models that can be used to create software from a set of user requirements
To understand the importance of an iterative approach to software analysis and design
To use industry standard techniques for analysing and designing software solutions
To understand the roles of the object oriented analyst and designer
The transition from an analysis model to a design model
To understand and use object orientation in analysing and solving business needs
Pre-Requisites
No knowledge of object orientation is required
No programming experience is required
