Close Protection
Officer Course
A 4 week, full time course to license you for Close Protection duties in the UK. This course will be available from
January 2007, based at our training facility in the UK, an intensive 4 weeks of practical exercises, backed up by theory and classroom work to prepare you for the
SIA CP Exam. (
Potential students may not require the full 4 weeks but will depend on their own individual skills and experience).
Accreditation and
Reports
The course is a pass/fail course, which includes the SIA Examination, standards are high, all graduating students receive a detailed report on their performance, to use when applying for work, all successful students will be forwarded to our strategic partners for interviews.
Food & Accommodation
Food & accommodation are included, breakfast, lunch and dinner at NO ADDITIONAL COST!!
Dress
Casual attire is recommended for all outdoor and classroom instruction. sturdy footwear and adverse weather clothing recommended. Students will require a formal suit, with black shoes, collared shirts and tie for operational lessons.
Equipment
PSD Training will issue, all equipment required for the duration of the course. A recommended kit list will be made available to you on booking your course.
Eligibility
Anyone over the age of 21, able to communicate, verbally and in written English and be physically fit is eligible to attend the course, please be aware we cannot guarantee employment, standards are high and will remain as such.

These companies are our strategic connections, all students who pass the physical and written examinations are considered and recommended to these companies. It is your own initiative and abilities that win you the position. We make NO GUARANTEES you will receive a job, we cannot, no-one should. Our strategic connections look to our course to provide them with operators, able to work, with minimum leadership in hostile sometimes extreme environments, PSD operators already operating in Hostile Environments such as Iraq, attend our course, to refresh their skills, for their and their company's peace of mind.
