Programming .NET 3.0 Frame Work
5 days - Instructor-led
Learning Goals
This course covers the .NET Framework 3.0, the next generation of Microsoft Windows Vista technologies to build rich clients, connected systems and workflow applications, with practical hands-on labs to reinforce the concepts:
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) allows rich client applications to take full advantage of the graphical capabilities of a Vista PC. The programming model of WPF integrates support for flexible layout, high-quality text, resolution-independent graphics, animation, video and 3D.
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is the next-generation communication platform making it possible to build secure, reliable, and transacted systems through a simplified programming model. WFC unifies and extends many of the previous .NET technologies including XML Web Services, WSE, .NET Remoting, .NET Enterprise Services, and System.Messaging.
Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) provides developers with services and tools to add rich workflow capabilities to their web and smart client applications as well as to web and Windows services. WF makes it possible to create rich Human Workflow applications that truly involve the business user.
Target Audience
This course is an upgrade course for professional C or VB.NET programmers experienced with Visual Studio 2005 who are interested to learn about the new programming model of Windows Vista.
