Beginning with a general overview and an introduction to e-business, this course goes on to teach the fundamentals of Web-based application architectures, as well as some key concepts in client and server-side technologies. Making the transformation from a traditional business to an e-business becomes the focus as this course progresses. Learners will encounter lessons on building blocks required for the transformation, as well as some of the fundamentals of customer relationship management.

No prerequisite knowledge of e-business technology is assumed. This course is the prerequisite course for the WebSphere, Java, and XML curricula.
