This course presents information on the characteristics of wireless LAN (WLAN) client adapters and access points (APs) that need to be considered before implementing a diverse WLAN environment. You will learn how to install a typical WLAN client adapter and how to configure both basic options and also advanced options such as encryption, load balancing and roaming. This course also covers wireless AP characteristics and goes through the configuration of a typical AP. Finally, this course explores the setup and configuration of the Cisco Aironet 1200 AP.
