This is the third course in a three-part series of the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Management curriculum that prepares participants for the Microsoft MCSE Exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure. This course teaches about the placement of domain controllers and managing operations masters in Active Directory. Managing Active Directory, including defragmenting, backup and restore, and monitoring, is also covered.

Individuals who are either employed or seeking employment as a systems engineer in medium, large, or enterprise organizations. The audience consists of people wishing to enhance their skills using Windows Server 2003 Active Directory or who are preparing for the MCSE 70-294 exam: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure.
Learners should have completed the NETg curriculum: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Planning Network Infrastructure (courses 73316 to 73319), or have the equivalent knowledge and skills. These courses were in direct preparation for exam 70-293 Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure.
