  • Sequence the steps to make international travel arrangements.

  • Simulation Overview: In this simulation, you will meet with Dean Kramer, Health and Safety Officer for Icon International. As an efficiency coordinator, you were selected by Icon's Board of Directors to represent your department in forthcoming global negotiations. Your position is important and high profile, so Icon has managed most of your travel insurance. Since you will travel internationally, Dean has agreed to discuss elements of international travel preparation and safety with you.
Unit 2: International Travel Transportation (0.5 - 1.5 hours)
  • Identify measures you can take before your trip to ensure your safety.
  • Identify the aspects of your trip that you should address to increase your safety on an airline flight.
  • Identify international transportation options.
  • Identify measures you can take to increase your safety while driving a rental car.
  • Simulation Overview: In this simulation, you will meet with John Jefferson to discuss international travel safety. Known throughout the office as a fervent advocate of travel safety, John has traveled extensively for Icon and is prepared to discuss safety details pertaining to international air and ground transportation. Through this discussion, you will gain a better understanding of how to take precautions that will help ensure your safety when traveling internationally.
