The old rules no longer apply. Buyers must apply a new set of skills, alongside the old, to deliver the value that their organizations need, expect, and demand. Because the procurement function has such a significant impact on the organization, it is imperative that buyers are encouraged to continually monitor and maintain their professional development.
This program has been developed with the new environment in mind. It is intended to complement, not supplant, the more technical (and traditional) buyer training curriculum. Training can be a powerful catalyst in the process of changing minds -- the first step in realigning buyers with where their organizations want them to go.
